She claims 'the system worked', cites as evidence, primarily after the fact reactions to the failed bombing, she has no good answer to Crowley's question concerning Captain Underpants' not being promoted from the "tide list" (?) to the "more specific" list, given that his own father reported him the the U.S. Embassy, Nigeria.
Particularly galling is that earlier in the interview, at about 1:30, her roster of evidential support for the claim that 'the system worked' is that the passengers and crew took "appropriate action".
Madame Secretary, should the passengers and crew have been in that position in the first place? Are the passengers employees of Homeland Security or the FAA, pray tell?
